Unity Lab Services provides a single source for coordinated lab service support and supply management. Our customized service offerings and worldclass service experts have the flexibility and experience to uniquely address our customers laboratorys business needs.
What will you do
- Inventory Management: Stock room POU management dispensing of products monitoring expiration dates etc.
- Order Management: Order entry expediting monitoring customer service support etc.
- Drive Process Improvement culture
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned by management
How will you get here
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree in a related field preferred or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills. Military Service/Training may also be considered.
Experience
- 4 years of related experience in inventory management and customer service (within a laboratory setting is helpful).
Knowledge Skills Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and desire to deliver excellent customer service. This includes maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor in all interactions and upholding Thermo Fisher Scientifics values.
- Demonstrates computer proficiency and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite of software. Uses interpersonal skills to multitask and meet due dates as needed.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Requires the ability to lift push and pull 3040 pounds consistently; may be required to lift 50 pounds occasionally including operation and use of pushcarts pallet jacks forklifts etc.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods
- May include spaces where chemicalbased allergens are used (such as penicillin tetracycline etc). Depending on the area of the building personal protective equipment may be worn.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
