Job Description
DaytoDay Role:
- Install configure and support organizational network devices.
- Maintain network infrastructure such as routers switches wireless controllers and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues including hardware and software problems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues for WAN LAN VPN connectivity and end user issues.
- Support and monitor remote plant network infrastructure and performance.
- Maintain and monitor various platforms to its standards such as Cisco Catalyst center.
- Document network configurations processes and procedures.
- Contribute to service desk plus for resolving tickets and maintaining network quality.
- Design and configure Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers 9800.
- Configure OSPF and BGP on Cisco routers.
- Create and deploy rules for SAP firewalls in Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center.
- Troubleshoot and create/assign profiles in Cisco ISE according to end user requirements.
- Analyze requirements and participate in the design of software solutions.
Core Skills and Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field and
- Three 3)years of experience as a Network Engineer or a related occupation
OR
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field and
- Five 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or a related occupation
AND
- Two 2 years of experience with Network and System Design
- Two 2 years of experience with SDWAN
- Two 2 years of experience with Routing and Switching
- Two 2 years of experience with Wireless Technolog
- Two 2 years of experience with Cisco Catalyst Center
