  • 14.36 per hour plus mileage

Your role and responsibilities

As anActivities Support Workeryou will transport children and young people to activities across the county. The aim of these activities is to promote confidence encourage social interaction and gain new experiences in a fun and safe environment.

You will need:

  • to be able to develop a rapport and positive relationship with children and young people who are experiencing challenging situations
  • ensure children and young people feel supported and safe with you
  • to engage in activities which promote selfconfidence interaction and fun.

What the role requires

  • Experience of working alongside children or young people in a professional or voluntary capacity.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • The ability to remain calm inchallenging situations and be patient with a caring manner.
  • A full valid driving licence and to have access to a vehicle which may require you to drive long distances on occasions.
  • To be willing to work a combination of weekends school holidays and evenings.

  5. How do you ensure clear and effective communication with children young people and their families Can you provide an example of a time when your communication skills made a significant difference
