POSITION: Advanced Manufacturing Technology InstructorJOB DESCRIPTION: Instructor of Advanced Manufacturing Technology with responsibility for developing coordinating delivering and supervising technical and related theory learning experiences for students pursuing a career in the advanced manufacturing industry. Instruction will be in accordance with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Educations Vocational Technical Education Framework for Advanced Manufacturing. Additional responsibilities as needed including but not limited to updating curriculum. Classes are to be taught to students in grades 912 in a regional vocational technical high school.QUALIFICATIONS:1. High school diploma or equivalent2. At least five years of fulltime employment experience directly related to advanced manufacturing. (Note: an associates degree may substitute for one and a bachelors degree may substitute for two of the five years of required employment experience provided that the degree includes subject matter directly related to advanced manufacturing and/or in vocational education.3. Must have excellent communication skills both written and oral4. Competency in computer applications such as Google or Microsoft operating systems 5.
