Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs general maintenance work to maintain structures electrical systems machinery and equipment heating and plumbing systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs general maintenance and preventive maintenance work on shop equipment.
- Interprets maintenance manuals drawings and specifications to determine repair and troubleshooting and procedures.
- Troubleshoots general operational problems. Uses testing devices.
- Disassembles repairs replaces parts on and reassembles equipment.
- Performs basic fabrication and assembly.
- Maintains facility by performing general upkeep and repair operations. Refers those maintenance needs requiring proficient experience to supervisor.
- Maintains heating cooling and ventilating systems.
- Runs and drops computer and telephone wiring as well as piping for basic plumbing.
- Performs basic electrical repairs on equipment.
- Assists with the moving relocation and installation of equipment.
- Places purchase requisitions for parts or supplies as needed.
- Moves and stores hazardous materials in accordance with environmental and safety procedures.
- Follows lockout tagout procedures.
- Proceeds under general supervision.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of and conformity with Ace Precision Quality System work instruction requirements that govern Maintenance operations.
- Maintains or exceeds production standards through efficient organization and planning.
- Follows and complies with all safety policies and procedures.
- Accurately completes all required documentation.
- Meets attendance policy requirements.
- Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Twoyear technical degree with one to three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read English and interpret safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate with employees and other Company stakeholders.
