Camp Rivendale Summer Assistant Directors
Open Position:
Camp Rivendale Assistant Directors:
- Develop and implement assigned learning curriculums recreation programs camp or activities.
- Work independently within established guidelines to develop coordinate supervise and instruct daily activities in the assigned program area.
- Provide lead direction to assigned parttime staff.
- Coordinate instruct supervise and lead learning and enrichment activities.
- Create an inclusive and satisfying camp atmosphere for all participants.
- Point person for behavioral interventions ensuring all camper safety and provide basic first aid if necessary.
- Complete training and drive THPRD vehicles with campers and staff.
Position Details:
- Pay Rate Range:$19.72 $22.21 hourly based on experience
- Camp Dates: June 23rd to August 22nd 2025 training May 17th and the week of June 16th.
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday variable hours mornings to early afternoons up to 29 hours per week.
- Location: Camp Rivendale 8385 SW Grabhorn Rd Beaverton Oregon 97007
- Responsibilities: Supervising and leading activities for patrons aged 6 to 20 experiencing disabilities in an outdoor recreation environment.
- Work Conditions: Outdoor work; adherence to safety standards required
Requirements:- Must be at least 18 years old on start date
- Must obtain CPR/First Aide prior to start date
- Must enjoy working with youth
- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions

Job Classification Status:
THPRD is hiring with hours that vary based on program needs.
- PartTime Variable (PT): Work an average of fewer than 20 hours per week with less than 1560 hours annually.
