Job Description
- Provides individual group and family therapy to CPS families:
- Learns as much as possible about the culture of individuals served and recognizes the influence his/her own background has on his/her understanding and response to cultural differences when interacting with individuals.
- Develops maintains updates and completes appropriate clinical records to include treatment plans treatment plan reviews addendums progress notes and bio psychosocials in a timely manner and in accordance with record management policy.
- Participates in consultations with CPS staff DCF CPI staff and supervisor concerning individual cases as needed.
- Works with all staff involved to ensure services are delivered in support of the familys case plan
- Participates in CPS case staffings to discuss the individual/familys progress or response to therapy.
- Assists in program development and planning as requested or required.
- Attends trainings in service sessions staff meetings and clinical supervision as required.
- Assists in Quality Improvement issues as requested or required.
- Develop and maintain therapeutic relationship with families and children
- Complete other duties as assigned.
