Role ServiceNow Developer
Location Remote
Duration Longterm
Job Description :
Establishing Discovery Patterns
  • What methods were used (e.g. Service Graph Connectors (SGC) scans APIs)
  • How was the data processed and used to populate the CMDB
Record Maintenance
  • What Archive and CMDB Data Manager Policies did they write
  • What Tables/Classes were most challenging and how did they address those
Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE)
  • What IRE rules did they create to prevent duplicate Configuration Items (CIs)
  • How did they identify and address duplicate records when they did occur
Business Applications (Candidates may not have experience with this area but it would be a preferred qualification)
  • How were Business Service Application Service and Technical Service defined
  • How was tagging or other strategies used to create relationships between Applications and infrastructure (e.g. servers)
