Stella Digital seeks an energetic and versatile sales leader with experience in highend fashion industry for the Director of New Business Development position.
The New Business Director is responsible for sourcing new clients (photographers agents art directors producers) and ensuring the quality of services delivered to existing clients are consistent and satisfactory. The candidate will serve as a primary contact for all new and ongoing business opportunities. He/she will improve sales productivity and service by understanding business needs and issues and devise effective sales strategies. Candidate should be able to interact daily with photographers producers art directors agents and other industry figures in the highend fashion retail consumer/lifestyle field.
Duties include but not limited to:
Develop new clients build relationships with brands and media also; developing highend partnership deals and negotiating contracts
Manage the daily operations of the business email/calls to potential clients manage calendar schedule meetings etc.
Assess needs for an effective PR strategy attending events and openings as needed
Qualifications:
5 7 years working with highend fashion media luxury goods consumer/lifestyle brands agency. B.A. required.
Expert at maintaining ongoing relationships with members of toptier media. Strong industry contacts and media relations skills.
Confident management style with the ability tocommunicate effectively in all forms and at all levels
Exceptional verbal written and interpersonal communications skills; superior communication and presentation skills
Able to work on multiple projects & initiatives under company strategy and cope well under pressure.
