TGT English Job Description
Job Summary:
The Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) for English will be responsible for teaching English to students in the specified grade levels typically classes 610. The role demands a highly qualified individual with a strong grasp of the English language the ability to create an engaging classroom environment and the capability to design and implement effective lesson plans to cater to diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Curriculum Delivery:
- Teach English language and literature to students following the prescribed syllabus and curriculum.
- Plan prepare and deliver lessons that are interesting engaging and appropriate to the students grade levels.
- Integrate modern teaching techniques and technological tools to enhance student learning.
- Facilitate both inclass and remote learning as per school requirements.

Assessment & Evaluation:
- Regularly assess students progress through quizzes assignments projects and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of students academic performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Conduct remedial classes for students needing extra support.

Classroom Management:
- Create a disciplined and focused classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Encourage students participation in discussions debates and presentations.

Lesson Planning & Preparation:
- Develop and implement detailed lesson plans and resources in line with the curriculum.
- Set achievable learning outcomes for each lesson and evaluate student progress regularly.

ParentTeacher Communication:
- Engage with parents during regular meetings and parentteacher conferences to discuss students progress challenges and behavior.

Professional Development:
- Attend training workshops and school meetings to improve teaching skills and stay updated with current educational practices.

CoCurricular Involvement:
- Encourage student participation in cocurricular activities related to English such as debates drama poetry competitions and literary clubs.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in English (BA/ B.A. Hons) from a recognized university.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Postgraduate degree (MA in English) is mandatory.

Experience:
- A minimum of 23 years of teaching experience in a school setting preferably teaching English at the secondary level.
- Familiarity with CBSE or other educational boards and their curricula is preferred.

- Excellent command over the English language (both written and verbal).

Benefits
Salary: 25000 to 35000 depends upon experience and performance in the interview)
