Job Description
Job Summary: The Certified Service Technician at Prestige Ford in Mt. Dora Florida is a skilled and experienced individual responsible for maintaining repairing and servicing vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. This position works independently as an individual contributor and is a vital part of our team delivering impeccable service to our customers.
Compensation & Benefits: This is a fulltime salaried position with a competitive compensation package ranging from $50000 to $140000 per year based on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical dental and vision insurance paid time off and retirement plans.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic tests and vehicle inspections to identify potential issues
Recommend and perform necessary repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards
Repair and replace vehicle components such as engines transmissions brakes and electrical systems
Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues
Keep accurate records of all work performed and maintain a clean and organized work area
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers and addressing any concerns they may have
Stay uptodate with the latest automotive technology and complete required training and certifications to maintain Master Certification status
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Technician status fromASE and/or manufacturer certifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Technician in a dealership setting
Excellent diagnostic and problemsolving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Strong communication and customer service skills
