The PGIM Private Capital (Prudential) Power and Renewables team manages an approximately $10 billion dollar portfolio of private investments in debt and structured equity in power generation and power infrastructure. Candidates will participate in the management and origination of investment transactions in power generation assets such as wind solar hydroelectric natural gasfired power plants transmission assets as well as investments in power project developers utilities and cooperatives. The group has a geographic focus on North America Latin America UK/Europe and Australia providing candidates a global perspective on power investing.
What you can expect
This Senior Investment Associate will play a critical role in sourcing underwriting and management of investments. In this role the Senior Associate has the opportunity to use existing background and career experience while also developing new skills involving financial analysis spanning the capital structure. Transaction experience will include the sourcing structuring negotiation and documentation of senior debt subordinated debt and structured equity transactions.
What you will bring
- 24 years of investment banking project finance or similar experience
- Strong analytical writing interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
What will set you apart
- Experience within the power energy or infrastructure sectors
- Specific knowledge of project and structured finance transactions
- Participation in the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) program
- An MBA or relevant graduate degree
