Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PM Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen in the absence of the Food and Beverage Manager while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Close the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef ensuring all tasks are completed.
Adhere to all prepared written recipes for all menu items to maintain consistency and quality.
Report any outofstock items to the Executive Chef promptly.
Prepare all sauces and dishes for breakfast and lunch menus as directed.
Assist in setting up the restaurant and employee cafeteria buffet.
Prepare soups under the guidance of the Executive Chef.
Supervise and assist dishwashers and pantry personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
Ensure all dining room associates follow proper ordering and pickup procedures.
Perform dinner setup duties according to the Prep List schedule.
Maintain health and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen supervisory role or similar position.
Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Knowledge of health and sanitation standards.
Teamoriented with a positive attitude.
