Job Description
Job Title: Head Baseball/Assistant Football Coach
Department: Athletic/Classroom Teacher
Reports To: Building Principal & Athletic Director
Teaching Field: Social Studies
Length of Contract: 220 days
FLSA: Exempt
Job Summary:
The Head Baseball Coach is responsible for building and sustaining a competitive baseball program while serving as an Assistant Football Coach. This role focuses on player development leadership and fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organize and lead baseball practices game preparation and team management.
- Manage team logistics including scheduling budgets and equipment.
- Promote strength and conditioning programs for both sports.
- Encourage multisport participation and collaborate with other coaches.
- Assist in football coaching responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in education or related field (preferred).
Valid Arkansas teaching license.
High school or collegiate coaching experience (preferred).
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to strength and conditioning as a key component of player development.
Ability to work extended hours including evenings and weekends.
