The Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity (Doherty Institute) supports communicable diseases prevention control and response across the Pacific and Southeast Asia through diagnosis surveillance and outbreak investigation and development of strategies to prevent treat and eliminate infectious diseases. The Strategic Partnership will contribute to the thematic areas of workforce development policy systems strengthening and partnerships targeting; laboratory strengthening genomic surveillance antimicrobial resistance and data for decision making.
