Situated on 100 pristine acres in Southern PA this exceptional sanctuary facility is the epitome of a highquality dream come true for its 4 legged residents! The owner of this facility came originally from the AA Hunter/Jumper circuits and carries that same level of care and attention through to the lucky rescues who reside here. This nonprofit sanctuary ensures that its residents want for nothing thanks to the generous contributions of its many donors and the hard work of its topclass employees! Job Description

We are looking for an experienced detail oriented and motivated professional to join this unique team! If providing 5* care to a herd of retirees and rescues in a laidback and consistent stayathome environment sounds pretty good we want to hear from you! This individual will ideally be experienced in all facets of grooming care and basic groundwork with a passion for working with animals from a variety of backgrounds. While this is a fairly standard care/maintenance role this facility has a strong focus on ensuring that its employees have proper work/life balance and a sustainable workload. Stall cleaning is kept light and efficient while still ensuring topquality living standards & facility upkeep and much of the routine responsibilities center around the management of vet/farrier/dental schedules. For the right individual there will be ample ground training/handling opportunities provided along with the daily care responsibilities that all team members pitch in on.

Job Duties

Basic stable & facility cleaning/maintenance

Leading large groups to/from pastures as a team

Feeding and watering daily

Grooming with care and attention to detail

Bandaging administering meds as needed (Oral IM IV preferred)

Holding for vet farrier dentist

Working with animals on the ground (leading tying lunging etc)

Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years experience in a professionalgrooming position (or higher!

Strong attention to detail and organization capabilities

Confident handling abilities with animals from a variety of backgrounds

Collaborative and teamoriented work style

Genuine passion for providing topquality care

Benefits

10 days of PTO halfdays on holidays

5 day 48hr work week

Housing option provided nearby to property in brandnew 4bed house (Currently empty but will be shared with 12 additional team members) *not required if local*

Hourly pay rate up to $21.00/hr DOE

1hr lunch break

Heated/Air Conditioned staff room/office

Possibility for a raise after 1st year!
