Here at GXO were currently looking for a General Manager to lead our M&S ambient food warehouse operation in Milton Keynes. Youll lead a strong growing team and be responsible for ultimately ensuring the operational and commercial success of a complex operation.
This is a full time permanent role. Even though youllbe contracted to Monday Friday this is a 24/7 operation thereforeyoull need to offer a level of flexibility in terms of working hours no twoweeks are the samethis is logistics after all!

Youll be paid a salary of per annum depending upon experience. What youll do on a typical day:
- Be responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of the operation leading from the front and getting under the skin of what keeps the site moving on a daytoday basis
- Play a key part in driving communication and engagement with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels both onsite and throughout the wider GXO network
- Demonstrate the ability to identify and drive opportunities for operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships ensuring the longterm success of the contract

- A proven track record effectively leading a fast moving ambient foods logistics operation with strong experience of continuous improvement youll be the type that never wants to stand still and aims for excellence
- Fantastic leadership skills with a real focus on developing and engaging your people and driving succession from the bottom up
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and with the customer
- A high level of resilience with the ability to lead a winning team to success
