Job Description

This is a day shift position with overnight on call responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:
- Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate evaluate and record critical functional pathological and anatomical data. Schedules and coordinates tests records test results.
- Familiar with standard concepts practices and procedures.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Requires a two year allied health degree successful completion of an approved oneyear program in Ultrasound.
- Reports to the Director of Imaging
Qualifications:
Requires registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Must have RVT credential and be experienced in breast OB/GYN and general US imaging
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential is required
OB/GYN experience must include biophysical profiles
Breast Imaging must include experience in biopsies
Experience in Echocardiography is preferred but not required
