This is a temporary position with no paid benefits.*
All internships are paid fulltime summer of 2025 positions.
Summary of Work
This internship will provide quality experience with reading and understanding NDDOT plans and specifications while working on construction projects. Applicants will have the opportunity to gain experience in materials testing construction surveying and construction inspection. You will be testing materials such as aggregate hot mix asphalt concrete and soils to ensure that the materials meet NDDOT specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be enrolled in an engineering technology or civil/construction engineering undergraduate degree program.
Requires ability to lift and carry a total weight of up to 50 pounds.
Possession of a valid Class D Drivers License for travel within the state of North Dakota.
Requires satisfactory completion of the interview process successful completion of a job function screening and a verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.
