Job Description
Position Information
Inspects the installation of electromechanical and electronic traffic signal devices control boxes traffic camera and other appurtenant field equipment and related construction work to insure compliance with pertinent codes standards plans and specifications; and performs other related duties as required.
Current Vacancy:
There is one vacancy with the Department of Transportation Services Traffic Signals & Technology Division. Must be able to work irregular hours weekend and shift work when necessary.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience which demonstrated the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Four years of journey level electrician or related experience involving the installation maintenance and repair of traffic signal equipment.
LICENSE REQUIREMENT:
1. Current Hawaii State journey electricians or specialty electricians license.Verification Requirement: You must submit a copy of your license.
