We are looking for a Database Administrator to support our clients growing data environment. This role is essential for maintaining the reliability and performance of their applications. You will be part of a team managing a complex and expanding system and we seek a passionate individual with a strong commitment to consistency and reliability.

Responsibilities:
- Install configure upgrade and maintain various database servers
- Monitor system performance and optimize as needed.
- Implement and uphold security protocols.
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using infrastructureascode tools.
- Develop and manage data backup and recovery processes to ensure data security.
- Collaborate with the application development team to establish data architecture and quality standards.
- Plan for capacity and conduct regular system audits to optimize resource use.
- Document and standardize system procedures.
- Perform schema changes without downtime.
- Automate routine tasks.
- Participate in oncall support as needed.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in managing data environments including architecture monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting languages as well as familiarity with data query languages and stored routines.
- Knowledge of cloud data solutions infrastructure provisioning tools and experience in managing complex data environments with performance challenges.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools.
- Ability to work across multiple functions adapt to various tasks and apply strong problemsolving skills with algorithmic thinking.
- Collaborative and positive work ethic with a sense of ownership and enjoyment.
- Strong communication skills.
