Qualifications:
- Must meet qualifications for certification as a School Psychologist;
- Strong knowledge of Pattern of Strength and Weakness model (PSW);
- Strong communication skills;
- Ability to work as an effective team member with parents teachers andadministrators;
- Excellent comprehension of a diagnosticprescriptive model of evaluation;
- Knowledge of MTSS and use of student/building data to design instructional interventions/supports.
- Knowledge of researchbased reading instruction and intervention.
Responsibilities:
Conducts psychoeducational initial and threeyear evaluations of students. Attends child study meetings and all meetings pertaining to the evaluation process. Participates with general education and special education teachers to design instructional strategies interventions and supports for students.
