Join Our Team as a 7th Grade Science Teacher!Are you passionate about sparking curiosity and inspiring young minds to explore the wonders of science Do you believe in fostering a positive studentcentered classroom environment where socialemotional growth is just as important as academic successOur school is seeking a dedicated and innovative 7th Grade Science Teacher to join our vibrant 7th grade teaching team serving approximately 80 students. This role will hold a 7th grade Teacher Advisory of a group of 7th grade students as well. Using Developmental Designs principles you will create engaging handson lessons that empower students to think critically collaborate effectively and develop a lifelong love for learning.Why Join Us

What Youll Do:
  • Inspire and challenge students through interactive lessons in life earth and physical sciences.
  • Build strong respectful relationships with students while fostering a classroom culture of collaboration and belonging.
  • Engage students in handson learning from conducting experiments to tackling realworld problems.
  • Use assessments and feedback to guide student progress and adapt lessons to meet diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and families to support each students growth and success.
Qualifications:
  • Education & Certification: Bachelors degree in science or education (Masters preferred); valid teaching certification for middle school science.
  • Experience: Prior teaching experience (especially in middle school) and/or familiarity with Developmental Designs is a plus!
  • Passion & Skills: A love for science education a knack for building positive relationships and a commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
