Job Description
Reporting
This position will report to the Technical Manager
Areas of responsibility
- Installation ofnew equipment as well as service and maintenance of existing equipment incompliance with regulations and quality standards;
- Assesstroubleshoot and repair of defective diagnostic equipment;
- Complete andkeep detailed records of all work done and prepare weekly work reports;
- Complete allmandatory documentation as required for all installations;
- Delivery ofequipment to customers;
- Assures productquality by electrical testing methods and testing installed systemcapabilities;
- Prepare productreports by collecting analysing and summarizing information and trends;
- Provideengineering information by answering questions and requests;
- Keep equipmentoperational by following manufacturers instructions and establishedprocedures;
- Update andmaintain product data base on an ongoing basis;
- Completeprojects by training and guiding customers/users;
- Maintainprofessional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.

- Technicalknowledge of electronic electrical and mechanical systems andtroubleshooting;
- Valid driverslicense with own transport is a prerequisite.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma NDipor Btech Degree: Clinical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering;
- Computer Skills(MS Office (specifically Excel advanced) networking etc.
Experience required
- 35 Yearstechnical working experience in the Medical Industry;
- Minimum of 3years experience working with CT Scanners;
- Experienceworking with Nuclear Medicine Equipment will be an advantage;
- Electrical mechanical and electronic fieldexperience will be an advantage
