Are you passionate about developing cuttingedge machine learning and natural language processing solutions
A leading organisation is looking for a talented Python Developer to join their dynamic Data Science team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on Machine Learning Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Model (LLM) systems taking them from prototype to production. The role involves designing and implementing data pipelines microservices and integrations while ensuring compliance with privacy security and data quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with data scientists developers and system architects to deliver innovative machine learning and NLP solutions.
- Develop reusable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Design and implement scalable microservices and ML/LLM components.
- Ensure compliance with security privacy and data governance regulations.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance solution effectiveness.
- Monitor model performance postproduction and continuously improve systems.
- Document development processes and participate in code reviews.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong Python experience with a focus on datadriven development.
- Proficiency in SQL and database integration.
- Experience with containerisation (Docker Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (Azure or GCP is a plus).
- Experience with DevOps/DataOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Advantageous: Skills in Java Scala or R and experience working with unstructured data (HTML PDFs etc..
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- 35 years experience as a Developer or Data Engineer focusing on Python solutions.
