Job Description
Under the general supervision of the Diagnostic Services Manager operates electrocardiograph and applies ambulatory monitors draws blood samples and ensures specimen integrity; according to established policies and procedures using acceptable techniques. Compiles data as necessary for physician review. Performs related clerical duties.
Must have basic analytical skills manual dexterity high degree of interpersonal skills and some physical strength. Must possess the ability to read write and comprehend instructions. Computer Skills required.
Must have EKG / Phlebotomy Tech experience or successful completion of a 13 month on the job the job training program for staff without experience.
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. In addition must have Medical Assistant Certificate CNA certification or EKG/Phlebotomy training certificate or currently be enrolled in a Nursing PA MED Tech or similar degree in healthcare.
