Job Title: Teacher/Head Basketball Coach
Location: Eustace High School
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team at Eustace High School as a Teacher/Head Basketball Coach. This dual role requires a unique blend of skills in both education and athletics.
As a Teacher you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans assessing student performance and fostering a positive learning environment. You will be expected to uphold the academic standards of Eustace High School and contribute to the intellectual growth of our students.
As the Head Basketball Coach you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the schools basketball program. This includes planning and executing training sessions developing game strategies and mentoring athletes to foster their physical and mental development. You will also be expected to uphold the values of sportsmanship teamwork and integrity within the team.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge and passion for teaching and basketball
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students and athletes
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members
- Ability to handle the dual role of teacher and coach effectively
Certifications:
- Valid teaching certification
- Experienced in coaching basketball
