About Us
Rural Care Australia (RCA) is a communityowned notforprofit organisation dedicated to delivering intergenerational services across the township of Merbein Victoria. We operate Chaffey Aged Care a 100bed residential aged care facility and Generations Early Learning a 72place early years service which is one of Australias first shared site Intergenerational Early Learning services.

Heres what your day could look like at Chaffey Aged Care:
Overseeing the health of residents across a 24/7 roster under the direction of the Clinical Care Coordinator and Clinical Operations Manager
Delivering thorough assessments ensuring exceptional reporting and contributing to comprehensive care plan evaluations for residents
Enhancing resident wellbeing by delivering personalised care that aligns with care plans and individual needs
Bringing care to life by administering scheduled medicationstopical enteral and injections (if qualified)
Being the goto trusted liaison for residents their families and representatives in regards to resident care satisfaction and wellbeing
Collaborating with RNs PCAs and CSAs in the delivery of care hygiene mobility meal management and dementia support to residents in line with our vision mission and values
Following legislative industry and organisational standards as it relates to quality resident outcomes care minutes infection control occupational health and safety and storage & administering of medications
Above all bringing a cheerful attitude and compassionate approach to every interaction with residents.
Work across a rotating roster with the following shifts available:
Morning 07:00am 15:00pm
Afternoon 14:00pm 22:00pm
Night 21:30pm 07:30am
About You
As our next Enrolled Nurse you are excited to bring exceptional skills knowledge and experience to our team including:
A solid understanding of best practice evidencebased care and consumerdirected care ideally within an agedcare environment
Proven people and communication skills including relationship building cooperation and conflict deescalation & resolution
Diligent record keeping skills coupled with confidence in utilising agedcare specific software applications such as MANAD and MedSig (or similar)
Demonstrated knowledge and confidence when adhering to medication storage and delivery practices
Responsive reliable and dependable in nature
Committed to delivering compliant and compassionate care to residents at all times
Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Act mandatory reporting obligations the Australian Aged Care Quality Standards and the Aged Care Funding Instrument is highly regarded.
