Job Description

Reference: BIT004151Mel1

A client that developed a software solutions package (administration and accounting) tailored specifically for the retirement fund industry is looking for an Intermediate SQL Developer to join their team on an initial 1 year contract (possibility of going perm thereafter).

Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications:
  • BSc Actuarial Science or BSc IT

Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years experience in SQL development
  • Microsoft TSQL experience
  • Fluently code in stored procedures
  • Understand the fundamentals of indexing
  • Database administration
  • Knowledge of finance (accounting and investments) is required
  • Relational database design

KPAs:
  • Identify drawbacks and make improvements
  • Consult with client teams
  • Test procedures
  • Report writing
  • Data conversion
  • Analyze the performance of stored procedures
  • Interpret an plan
