Job Description
A client that developed a software solutions package (administration and accounting) tailored specifically for the retirement fund industry is looking for an Intermediate SQL Developer to join their team on an initial 1 year contract (possibility of going perm thereafter).
Duties & Responsibilities
- BSc Actuarial Science or BSc IT
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years experience in SQL development
- Microsoft TSQL experience
- Fluently code in stored procedures
- Understand the fundamentals of indexing
- Database administration
- Knowledge of finance (accounting and investments) is required
- Relational database design
KPAs:
- Identify drawbacks and make improvements
- Consult with client teams
- Test procedures
- Report writing
- Data conversion
- Analyze the performance of stored procedures
- Interpret an plan
