Description
RPO Recruitments client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Mining Systems and Data Lead in the Northern Cape. The successful candidate will ensure data integrity interfacing and system continuity of companywide systems to support the total value chain from the planning phase through the mining phase production phase load out and dispatches.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure integration between production systems and financial systems through:
- Effective planning organizing and control
- Providing accurate business information on costs and statistical data
- Supporting improved decisionmaking and business improvement
- Managing and tracking information and process performance
- Enhancing productivity and product quality
- Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for System management and optimization
- Process management
- Plant and mining system operations
- Project management
- Reporting and data integrity
- Business information and dashboards
- Customer and stakeholder relations
- Staff supervision
- SHERQ adherence and compliance within own area of work
Requirements:
- B Degree / BTech Degree (NQF Level 7 360 credits) in IT / MIS / Business Systems or equivalent
- Certificate in Supervisory / Management / ARM or equivalent (NQF Level 4 150 credits)
- 5 years operational IT systems / data analysis / systems management / systems integration experience
- 2 years operational open cast mining industry experience
- 2 years operational Supervisory / Management stakeholder relations experience
