Job Description

About The Role
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the shop.
- Coordinate and assign tasks to shop employees.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Train and mentor shop employees on proper techniques and procedures
- Skilled Technical Expertise: Utilize knowledge of diesel engines transmissions brakes and other components to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot complex problems efficiently.
- Safety Standards: Prioritize safety protocols and guidelines
- Manage work schedules effectively to meet repair deadlines ensuring the timely return of trucks to operational status.
- Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and updates in truck mechanics to enhance skills and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Be prepared to respond promptly to highpriority breakdowns demonstrating a sense of urgency and problemsolving skills to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and find repair facilities for on the road drivers.
- Collaborate with Dispatch team on emergency repairs.
Ideal Candidate
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a team of mechanics and prioritize tasks.
- Experience with troubleshooting road repairs and finding repair facilities.
- Proven Experience: The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in truck mechanics with a demonstrated track record of successful repairs and maintenance of heavyduty vehicles.
- ProblemSolving Skills: Exhibit strong problemsolving skills enabling the candidate to diagnose and address complex mechanical issues efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in both diagnostic procedures and repairs ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Adaptability: Showcase adaptability and flexibility in handling diverse truck models emerging technologies and changing industry standards highlighting a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Commitment to Safety: Display a strong commitment to safety protocols emphasizing a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential safety hazards in the maintenance and repair process.
