Job Description
An industryleading client of ours is currently looking for the expertise of a Research & Product Developer to join their team.
We are in need of someone to:
- Do Extensive research (articles papers etc.
- Conduct thorough laboratory testing (before sending samples to customers/running trials).
- Visit stores and perform store tests (E.g.. Fast food retail factory)
- Manage projects
- Research
- Food understanding for cooking
- Mechanical understanding for forming
Structurally we need to be able to produce a tray that is more comparable to polystyrene and plastic trays. We have new tooling we need to trial with. Our need:
- Research
- Mechanical understanding of strength
- Store trials & Tests
We are wanting to test adding coatings onto cardboard @ S&G. We need to have an internal person that can do tests and keep records of the results. Polycoated board replacements.
The Extended Producers Responsibility act is going to come. We need someone to keep abreast of what is going on and provide information to management our sales team and customers. We need someone happy to do research and write summaries.
Perform tests and trials on sealing Gralex trays with plastic and board.
