Location: Hotel Arista
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports to: Director of Sales and Marketing
Status:Hourly NonExempt
Compensation Range:$22.0025.00/hour commensurate with experience and education.

Role Summary:
CityGate Hospitality is looking for a qualified Sales coordinator to join our Sales team. This person will primarily be responsible for supporting the sales team in assisting with a variety of administrative tasks as well as the coordination of events for internal and external groups.


Responsibilities:
  1. Continually upholds the 4star standards of Hotel Arista.
  2. Produces and distributes correspondence and communication to team members including Delphi reports (tenday event reports daily event postings & change logs) menu cards labels contracts internal forms and informational emails.
  3. Assist in administrative tasks to include beo packet assembly and distribution resume packet assembly and distribution lead response diagram distribution answering phones etc.
  4. Lead catcher and distributor.
  5. Research and generate lists of potential customers through Knowland.
  6. Create event menu cards and other templates as needed.
  7. Assists team members in planning internal meetings and events.
  8. Assists with special projects as needed.
  9. Assists sales managers with onsite event management and of events.
  10. Assists team with reviewing arrival report and determining anticipated VIPs.
  11. Assists team with inputting amenities and coordinating custom amenities.
  12. Assists with site tours when associated manager is unavailable.
  13. Promotes teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
  14. Receives and organizes donation requests for approval through leadership.
  15. Interacts with outside contacts:
    1. Guests to ensure their total satisfaction
    2. Vendors to arrange services
    3. Other contacts as needed (Professional organizations community groups)

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
  1. Hospitality or Sales focused major preferred.
Experience:
  1. Prior experience not required.
Skills:
  1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  2. Ability to work in a fastpaced team environment.
  3. Strong organization multitasking prioritizing and teamwork skills.
  4. Detail oriented.
  5. Experience with Word and Excel preferred.
  6. Polished personal presentation with warm confident and hospitable personality.
  7. Demonstrated ability to interact with guests associates and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel the brand and the Company.
  8. Excellent clerical skills.
  9. Ability to work nights weekends and/or holidays.
Physical Requirements:
  1. Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation.
  2. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs on occasion.
