Position SummaryThe Assistant/Associate Director of Admission plays a key role in advancing the Schools enrollment goals by supporting the assessment development and implementation of the admission process. This individual will actively contribute to the recruitment evaluation and enrollment of missionappropriate students while fostering strong relationships with prospective families.Specifically the Assistant/Associate Director will lead strategic recruitment admission and retention efforts for the Lower School (grades PreK5 and the Hope Graham Program (HGP grades 28 which serves students with languagebased learning differences.This is a fulltime 12month position reporting to the Director of Enrollment Management. Regular work hours are MondayFriday 8:00 AM4:00 PM with occasional evening and weekend commitments during peak admission periods and school events.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Assist the Director of Enrollment Management in developing and executing a strategic vision for recruitment marketing enrollment and retention of qualified students.
- Actively promote Bancroft School and develop meaningful relationships with prospective students and families.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective Lower School and HGP candidates and families through personal interviews and campus tours from point of inquiry through followup and enrollment.
- Respond to email telephone written and inperson communications from prospective Lower School and HGP students and families. Maintain relationships with families throughout their time at Bancroft.
- Collaborate with the Director of Enrollment Management and admissions team to develop and implement an outreach strategy that identifies and enrolls missionappropriate Lower School and HGP students.
- Conduct recruitment travel for the Lower School and HGP including representing Bancroft at educational consultant visits other educational organizations school fairs athletic events and community events.
- Coordinate the collection and evaluation of all Lower School and HGP admission applications including academic transcripts and teacher recommendations test scores and student/parent interviews. Present candidates for admission to the Lower School and HGP Admission Committees and serve as an active member of the committees.
- Collaborate with colleagues across campus such as the Divisional Heads and Academic Support leadership.
- Assist in the planning and of all recruitment yield and retention events including Open Houses Visit Days Revisit days Parent Information Sessions Receptions and Campus Tours.
Qualifications:- Bachelors degree.
- Equivalent of 1 to 3 years of experience in admission marketing or teaching.
- Background in early childhood or elementary education preferred.
- Excellent analytical communication collaborative leadership social and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in admission camp hospitality or auxiliary programs preferred.
- Fluent in the use of Google and Microsoft Office products with general ease with technology.
- Previous experience in database management. Prior experience with applications such as Blackbaud and Clarity is preferred.
- Financial Aid experience or a strong understanding of the financial aid process is preferred
- A strong understanding of students with languagebased learning differences is preferred
- A strong work ethic and initiative with the ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.
- An understanding of and love for Lower School and HGP profile students.

Compensation & BenefitsBancroft School offers a competitive salary range for this position of $48000 to $68000 determined by the scope of responsibilities market benchmarks and organizational considerations. Compensation is based on a variety of factors including education experience skills expertise and internal equity. Final salary details along with a comprehensive benefits package will be provided upon an employment offer.
