OPEN POSITION:
Hematologist / Oncologist
Must Speak Mandarin or Cantonese
SCHEDULE:
FullTime
40 Hours per Week
Exact Schedule Negotiable
No OnCall
No Evenings
Some Weekends Required
COMPENSATION:
$310000 to $390000 dependent upon experience and productivity

COMPANY PROFILE:
Founded in 2019 this organization is dedicated to the medicallyunderserved Asian community in New York City. Their mission is to provide valuebased highquality care that addresses the unique cultural and linguistic needs of this community ensuring each and every patient receives compassionate and comprehensive care. They boast 200 providers operating out of more than 100 clinics and representing over 20 specialties conducting more than 1 million patient visits each year. They are currently hiring due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The hematologist / oncologist will be responsible for diagnosing treating and managing patients with solid tumor or hematologic conditions ensuring they receive the best possible care. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans and support patients and their families through each phase of care.
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
diagnose solid tumor and hematologic conditions
determine treatment plans using various diagnostic techniques (biopsies imaging etc.
design individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy and immunotherapy
reassess disease progress as treatment progresses
pursue alternative therapies as needed as well as palliative care when appropriate
collaborate with surgeons pathologists and other specialists for comprehensive cancer care
educate patients and families about treatments side effects and posttreatment care
conduct followups to assess treatment efficacy and manage side effects
participate in case reviews clinical trials and continuous education
ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain detailed patient records
The hematologist / oncologist will see a variable number of patients per day depending upon the types of appointments scheduled. The physician will be supported by dedicated clinical assistants.
The practice uses the MDLand EHR.
The physician will work with a majority Chinesespeaking patient population and must be fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
REQUIREMENTS:
New York medical license
DEA
Board Certified or Eligible Hematology/Oncology
must speak Cantonese or Mandarin
