We are currently on the lookout to find funloving enthusiastic individuals to join our Food & Beverage Team!
As a Team Merlin parttime Food & Beverage Host you will help to create lifelong memorable experiences in our attraction for our guests.You will deliver the highest possible standards of guest service presentation and product knowledge and will ensure that our guests are receiving optimal fun by connecting with them in a magical fun and safe environment. Our Food & Beverage Hosts work in our small themed cafes where families can relax with a coffee or families can purchase a snack to eat. Food & Beverage hosts serve food and drinks and make sure the area is always spotlessly clean.
Responsibilities:
Adopts an enthusiastic assertive and passionate approach to Guest Service and demonstrates the Merlin Values at every opportunity.
Seeks out guest contact and displays enthusiasm and boundless amounts of fun energy.
Maintain a strong sales approach maximizing sales goal targets.
Ensure the queue lines are managed in a safe way while still delivering an excellent guest experience.
Should be comfortable and enjoy speaking to a variety of guests visitors and team members.
Ensure all public areas have well stocked displays and point of sale ready for the attraction opening and that the areas are maintained and kept in a clean and tidy manner throughout the day.
To follow opening and closing procedures as detailed in the departments operating plan.
Responsibility to ensure compliance of Health Safety & Security within the workplace including COVID19 policies practices and regulations.
Position may require standing bending kneeling and reaching repetitively or for extended periods of time.
6 months 1 year experience working in food service/concessions attractions entertainment or customer servicebased positions preferred.
Fun dynamic and friendly personality.
Excellent communication and listening skills with both team members and guests.
Able to work in areas with loud noises and confined spaces.
Selfmotivated able to work independently or as part of a team with strong problemsolving skills to remedy guest questions or concerns.
Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including days nights weekends holidays and special events.
