The EMC validation technician conducts EMC testing on a wide variety of automotive products. These components consist of different technologies including analog digital optic color RF and magnetic applications. This wide range of product mix requires broad based technical skills. The EMC validation technician will also record data and write test reports. Additional duties are performed as needed to ensure completion of projects and contribute to the success of the organization.
The following duties may be performed at all levels within the progression. This position requires independent problem solving and decision making under the supervision of the EMC Lab Manager. Work may be complex difficult in character and requires strong technical and broad business knowledge.
Education
Associates degree in electronics or equivalent work experience with a nonelectronics associate degree. Require a minimum of five years of experience in EMC testing. Must be broadly familiar with technologies products customers and programs.
