Job Description

Lunch Room Monitor Responsibilities:Supervision and Behavior Management:Monitor student behavior during meals encouraging positive interactions and appropriate conduct.Address any disruptive behavior or conflicts intervening calmly and effectively.Ensure students wait in an orderly fashion focus on eating and pick up trash.Mealtime Assistance:Assist students with their lunch needs such as locating trays or utensils.Cleanliness and Organization:Maintain a clean and tidy cafeteria including wiping tables.Assist with cafeteria cleanup and recycling.Safety and Security:Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students during lunch periods.Report any safety concerns or incidents to school administration.Communication and Collaboration:Communicate effectively with students and staff.Other Duties:May be responsible for seating students organizing lines or assisting with meal distribution.Will be required to attend training sessions. Work schedule: Monday through Friday 10:45 am to 1:45 pmDistrict CORI Check required before employment beginsFederal Fingerprint Check required before employment begins
