Job Description

St. Marys High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated PartTime English Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English literature and composition a commitment to student growth and the ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment in a Catholic High School.Responsibilities:Teach English courses at the high school level with a focus on literature writing and critical thinking.Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments projects and examinations.Provide constructive feedback to students to foster academic growth.Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support student learning and school initiatives.Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning atmosphere.Participate in school activities meetings and professional development as required.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in English Education or a related field (Masters preferred).Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain certification).Previous teaching experience at the high school level preferred.Strong communication and classroom management skills.A passion for literature writing and student engagement.Ability to integrate technology into the classroom.Schedule & Compensation:Parttime position teaching on Tuesdays and ThursdaysCompensation based on experience and qualifications.Join us at St. Marys High School where we foster a love for learning and academic excellence in a supportive and faithbased community!
