The goal of the Case Manager position is to promote continuity of care through coordinating collaborating and advocating based on students needs and serving as Assessment Team liaison to the University Counseling Center Psychiatry and Counseling teams Student Care Coordination the VU Student Health Center and community referral sources including hospitals private practitioners clinics and other mental health agencies. This position will perform initial screenings of students referred for formal psychological assessment administer and score psychological tests perform clinical interviews obtain authorization to release and obtain client information and/or medical/psychotherapy records; assist and track Assessment Team caseloads including creation of a database to track assessment trends and outcomes. This position may perform clinical activities under the supervision of a psychologist (e.g. test administration clinical interviewing focused intervention for ADHD).
This position will also develop and provide outreach programming particularly those related to neurodiversity including providing psychoeducation and health promotion aimed at students as well as staff and faculty. Other duties may include communicating and coordinating with outside providers school systems and family members and assisting students with referrals to appropriate treatment resources both before and following formal psychological assessment. Multicultural awareness and specific awareness of racial and identityrelated health equity issues and responsiveness are important components of all clinical and community outreachoriented work.

About the Student Care Network:
The Student Care Network (SCN) is comprised of the Center for Student Wellbeing Student Care Coordination the University Counseling Center and the Student Health Center. The SCN is a holistic network of services and resources pertaining to health and wellness available to all Vanderbilt University students who have paid the Student Health Fee. As such staff within the offices comprising the SCN work collaboratively to create integrated processes referrals and treatment plans to better serve the entire student.

The position does not have any supervisory responsibility; the position reports administratively and functionally to the Director of the University Counseling Center.
Education and Certifications:
A Masters degree from an accredited institution of higher education in psychology counseling social work or other mental healthrelated field is necessary.
Eligibility for licensure in Tennessee within two years of employment is required. Current licensure in TN or another state is preferred.
