WHAT YOU WILL DO

We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager vacancy! The Account Manager a creative and curious thinker will be primarily responsible for sales technical consultation and lead generation in their assigned territory for STERIS products to the Life Sciences industry. pharmaceutical biotech vaccine cell gene medical device nutraceutical and related industries. Responsible for achieving all revenue gross margin and product sales objectives established by the Business Unit. Participates in the design and implementation of sales strategies identifies prospects and opportunities presents new concepts and products calls on Customers and ensures optimal STERIS experience. Ensures high customer satisfaction effectively establishes multilevel relationships with customers and possesses excellent listening skills. Effectively manages and utilizes company provided sales resources to maximize sales outcomes while providing best solutions to the customer.

Business/Administrative:

  • Regularly communicate with STERIS management and partners.
  • Optimize sales strategies through effective planning.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data.
  • Provide timely reports.

Business Development:

  • Achieve sales quotas through consultative selling.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities with new and existing customers in the Life Sciences industry.
  • Develop strategic growth plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and leverage available resources.
  • Provide exceptional service to maintain STERISs reputation.

Technical:

  • Present STERIS Life Sciences products effectively.
  • Use a questionbased approach to understand customer needs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulations.
  • Educate customers on cleaning contamination control and sterility maintenance.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in a Science Related field Engineering (both strongly preferred)
  • Several years of sales experience to pharma manufacturer or cGMP industry related experience required

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in consultative selling of technical products/services for cleanrooms
  • Knowledge of regulated industries (cGMP GLP or similar)
  • Involvement with PDA ISPE or similar industry organization
  • Strong understanding of Customer and market dynamics and requirements with demonstrated ability to expand existing Customer relationships as well as develop new ones
  • Experience using current CRMs

Education Degree

  • Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering General
