Role: Supervisor in Assortments

Salary:39469.37

Working Hours:Monday Friday 10pm 6am

Location:Carlisle 54 Church Street Cumbria CA2 5TG

What will this role achieve

Reporting to the Team Managers the successful candidate will provide supervision and support to a team of operators responsible for all areas of wrapping production.

The role requires a proactive individual with a can do attitude who is committed to maintaining high standards in production whilst working as part of a dynamic team.

What will be your key deliverables

  • Take ownership and accountability of the Supply Chain Excellence initiatives including tiered meetings and updating the boards.
  • To ensure adherence to all quality and safety standards.
  • To ensure plant startup and shutdown are properly planned and performed
  • To achieve planned output within specification.
  • To maximise plant efficiency and to minimise TOS and waste.
  • To maximise the labour utilisation.
  • To ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained.
  • To develop line operatives in line with company best practice.
  • Support the Team Leaders in the introduction and support of any improvement initiatives.
  • Provide a strong and coordinated link with all production processes on the line.
  • Training will be provided to learn how to feed the biscuits
  • Will be in charge of the team holidays.

  • Strong communication skills ensuring liaison with a wide range of site personnel and functions from Technical and Hygiene to Engineering and Human Resources.

What does the recruitment process consist of

Assessments Swift Comprehensive Aptitude assessment along with a Workplace English assessment. These should take around 45 60 minutes to complete.

Interview 4560 minute competencybased interview based on our company values and your experience.
