Purpose of Job:
This role has two primary elements. One is to lead the Supply Chain organization at the ILSA sites including production planning logistics and procurement. The other is to drive the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for the ILSA Global business.
This position is a key driver in ensuring finished goods availability to fulfill customer demand while optimizing inventory and supply chain costs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage the supply chain team 34 direct reports) drive improvements in supply chain maturity employee development.
- Manage all Supply Chain operations at the Ilsa sites (Arzignano and Molfetta) procurement warehousing logistics plant scheduling and resupply planning.
- Drive the Integrated Business Planning process and associated process steps which are Portfolio Management Demand Planning Supply Planning Integrated Reconciliation and Management Business Review in coordination with crossfunctional members.
- Implement projects to leverage Oracle Supply Chain Planning Cloud applications (Oracle Demand Management Cloud Oracle Supply Planning Cloud Oracle S&OP Cloud) to analyze and drive to consensus for end item demand analyze and implement recommendations from Oracle Supply Planning Cloud and release work order batches to Oracle EBS.
- Coordinate closely with Plant Operations Customer Care Logistics Warehousing and the Commercial team to ensure alignment of expectations against the plans and gap closure tasks are being followed.
- Provide closely with strategic and/or local procurement team the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) in alignment with the production plans to ensure that materials are available on time and in full to support production needs.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 68 years experience in a manufacturing environment including the use of MRP and TMS tools
- Good knowledge and experience in all supply chain areas (planning logistics procurement)
- Specific skills and experience with the use of TMS tools with MRP / S&OP tools and processes
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Business Engineering or equivalent education or work experience
- APICS/ASCM CPIM certification required or willing to obtain in 12 months
- Strong English and Italian speaking / writing skills
- Ability and experience to lead and develop a team
- High level of integrity ability to deal with ambiguity
- Business savvy strong change agent and good organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functional lines without formal authority to handle multiple tasks and make consequential decisions
