WHAT YOULL DO


The SAP Associate Project Manager Adoption Services Center (ASC) is responsible for the overall management of projects originated by the SAP Market Units (MU) in various countries. They are responsible for planning tracking and managing the project for identifying key resources and providing the governance required to meet project objectives. The Associate Project Manager provides leadership to crossfunctional teams responsible for delivering project outputs to time budget and quality criteria. The Associate Project Manager also ensures adherence to project management methodology practices provides team coaching evaluates the performance of team members and reinforces knowledge management through collection and communication of lessons learned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Acting as a SubTeam Lead where it is needed managing components of a project or small selfcontained projects
Manage relationship with stakeholders internal and external keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues manage expectations and stakeholders satisfaction on all project requirements to enable positive customer reference and success story.
Conduct project planning activities and manage the of projects according to plan through the project life cycle from Initiating to Close.
Ensure proper use of methodology tools procedures and governance to best meet project objectives
Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with stakeholders to reassess and amend the scope of work budget and timeline.
Manage the financial aspects of the project: budgeting and estimate to actual variance.
Analyze risk establish contingency plans and identify trigger events for risk mitigating action.
Escalate issues early about the project to account management or delivery management.
Mentor project teams to ensure implementation of enterprise project management methodology standards and processes.

WHAT YOU BRING


A good understanding of the project management lifecycle SAP delivery tools and methodologies
An understanding of the wider project scope and objectives as well as the role and function of each team member
Strong organizational skills with an orientation to detail and the ability to communicate proactively when help or guidance is needed
A roficient understanding of SAP solutions and of the consulting business processes and functions.
Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools
Good understanding and experience in both traditional and Agile project management methodologies
A clear vision of what determines a successful project for the customer and for the enterprise.
Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure ambiguity and change.
An ability to negotiate consensus amongst diverse groups even outside the reporting structure.
Conceptual analytical thinking and decisionmaking skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines; effective communication with senior management clients peers and team members.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS


13 years of experience as a teamlead or consultant
First experience in customer project implementations
Experience in team building and leading small teams desi
rable.
