Job Description
This Quality Control Technician is responsible for aggregate sampling and delivery of aggregates asphalt and concrete samples to the designated materials testing laboratory
This is a 1 year contract position.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
A granular sampling of material at pits and quarries in accordance with LS 625
Pick up and deliver of aggregate asphalt and concrete samples
Daily coordination of Quality Control sampling activities with QC Supervisor QC Manager and Aggregate Foremen
Daily checkin with QC Manager and/or QC Supervisor
WORKING CONDITIONS
Predominantly field conditions
Must valid drivers license
Exposure to all elements summer heat rain etc
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Aggregate sampling experience is considered an asset
Basic materials testing laboratory knowledge is considered an asset
Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word programs
