GenPrides Operations Manager has a continuous improvement and systems mindset. They are a handson team member who ensures that the behindthescenes infrastructure of GenPride runs smoothly and supports our mission. This individual is responsible for maintaining and enhancing our core operational functionsincluding bookkeeping information technology facilities management and administrative systemsso they are efficient reliable and adaptable as GenPride continues to grow and evolve.
This fulltime exempt role is based primarily onsite in a lively community center environment where frequent interruptions and noise are part of the rhythm. The Operations Manager must be flexible yet structured with a schedule that may occasionally include early mornings evenings or weekends. Reporting directly to the Executive Director this role collaborates closely with contract accounting services and regularly partners with staff contract professionals board members and volunteers to achieve organizational goals. While this role is highly collaborative the Operations Manager is a selfdirected project manager with no direct reports.

GenPride advocates for the unique needs of older LGBTQIA adults in Seattle and King County and offers innovative programs and services that promote wellbeing prevent social isolation and cultivate belonging justice and liberation.
In the heart of Capitol Hill in Seattle GenPride recently opened The GenPride Center at Pride Place the Pacific Northwests first affordable housing and community center built for LGBTQIA and allied older adults in collaboration with Community Roots Housing. The GenPride Center is located on the ground floor of Pride Place and provides culturally relevant health and support services and programs to enhance the quality of life. We envision Pride Place as a fabulous place for LGBTQIA older adults to gather and as a hub for GenPrides countywide efforts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Operations Manager collaborates widely to ensure that GenPrides bookkeeping information technology administrative systems and facilities management systems are welldocumented coordinated accurate timely and userfriendly.
Technology Data Management and Reporting 25
- Ensure that databases computers printers and other equipment run efficiently.
- Coordinate firstresponse technology support for staff and volunteers.
- Onboard new staffs technology and access needs.
- Ensure that data and database management systems (currently Salesforce) are reliable and userfriendly.
- Serve as an officewide CRM (customer relationship management) system subject matter point of contact. Lead new employee CRM onboarding and continuing education training for staff and volunteers
- Identify and coordinate data cleanup tasks and projects across systems.
- Ensure that database standards and integrity are maintained across the agency while partnering with staff and contract professionals to evolve systems.
Finance 25
- Partner with contract accounting services to continuously improve financial processes and reporting.
- Manage GenPrides bookkeeping systemsincluding accounts payable and receivable financial transactions and cash handlingto ensure they are consistently applied timely and accurate.
- Ensure the finance systems schedule is followed so that contracted finance team members receive all necessary documentation to produce accurate timely monthly financial reports.
- Ensure vendor records and the collection of required information and documentation are current and accessible.
- Support audit preparation by ensuring that financial practices are followed and that the records are accurate and complete.
Facility Management 20
- Lead emergency preparedness planning and regularly review safety protocols.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure highquality costeffective facility maintenance.
- Ensure the safety and maintenance of highquality facilities (commercial kitchen office area community center space) grounds and equipment so that our building and equipment are always clean safe and inviting creating a welcoming environment for all.
- Operationalize standards and procedures including cleaning safety opening/closing and emergencies.
- Help staff volunteers and community partners set up the facility for specific purposes.
Administrative Systems 20
- Coordinate government grant invoicing ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
- Help the organizations processes remain legally compliant including insurance requirements. Respond to state and federal reporting requirements.
- Maintain various staff schedules for shared functions staff meetings center coverage tidiness etc.
- Manage monthly inventory and operational purchases. Work with staff to order and track supplies.
- Support leadership in the recruitment screening interviewing hiring and onboarding training.
- Implement onboarding and offboarding processes and materials so new hires join the team with clarity and understanding of the organization and its processes and protocols
- Manage the Board of Directors SharePoint folders and related documents. Assist the Executive Director with board materials for meetings and retreats.

- Experience with foundational bookkeeping practices including work in QuickBooks accounts payable accounts receivable transactions and cash handling.
- Familiarity with business software and a range of office and community center equipment. Has a knack for keeping things functioning inventoried and cared for when used by a spectrum of people.
- Experience managing vendor relationships contracts and external service providers.
- Outstanding organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple evolving deadlines and priorities.
- The ability to cultivate relationships and work effectively with a broad spectrum of people including building quick credibility and ongoing trust with coworkers partners volunteers and elders.
- Proven ability to work well in a collaborative environment willing to communicate and welcome ideas and suggestions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Complete COVID vaccination is required. Able to perform work that requires sitting moving around the center stooping bending and lifting up to 25 pounds in a community center environment with frequent interruptions.
COMPENSATION
