Duties & Responsibilities
About the Role
As a Senior BI Analyst you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decisionmaking by leveraging data to uncover trends patterns and opportunities. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements design data models and develop intuitive dashboards and reports. Your ability to communicate complex insights in a clear and compelling way will empower teams to make informed datadriven decisions.Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering:Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data and reporting requirements.
- Data Collection & Preparation:Identify collect and clean data from multiple sources ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Data Modeling & Warehousing:Contribute to the design and maintenance of scalable data models and warehouses.
- ETL Processes:Develop and maintain ETL workflows to move data efficiently from source systems to the data warehouse.
- Data Analysis & Interpretation:Conduct indepth analysis to uncover trends patterns and actionable insights.
- Report & Dashboard Development:Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau Power BI or Looker.
- Performance Monitoring:Monitor BI solutions and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Documentation:Create and maintain documentation for data sources ETL processes and reports.
- Collaboration & Communication:Present findings and recommendations to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Mentorship:Guide and mentor junior analysts sharing best practices and fostering growth.
What Were Looking For
- Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Business Analytics) or equivalent experience.
- Experience:58 years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau Power BI or Looker.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts ETL processes and data modeling.
- Familiarity with cloudbased data warehousing solutions (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery Redshift) is a plus.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python R) is a bonus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning
