About the Team

This internship offers you a chance to join eBays Diversity Inclusion & Belonging (DIB) team strengthening our culture through our Communities of Inclusion COIs (elsewhere known as employee resource groups). Our COIs are volunteer employeeled groups that create space and programming for eBayers all over the world to connect learn and feel belonging.

From day one you will work with leaders across the organization to strengthen eBays culture and DNA. Youll drive your own learning and development with guidance from your manager mentor and colleagues gaining excellent longterm development prospects.

Key Responsibilities:Design a blueprint and content framework for a Digital Belonging Gallery focusing on story collection narrative design audience experience and activation strategy.

Intern Deliverables:

• Storytelling Strategy: Study how companies use employee stories to influence culture and create a vision for eBays gallery.

• Employee Story Collection: Write outreach emails story prompts and consent forms; test a story collection campaign.

• Content Curation & Analysis: Review submissions for key themes and organize content using tools like Google Sheets.

• Visual Concept Development: Design a moodboard or sketch of the gallery concept using tools like Canva.

• Launch Strategy & Activation Plan: Develop a rollout plan and collaborate on messaging and communications.

Who You Are

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Human Resources Marketing Communications or a related field graduating December 2026 to Summer 2028.

• Passionate about building inclusive teams and supporting diversity inclusion and belonging (DIB) initiatives.

• Strong communicator written and verbal.

• Strategic thinker.

• Experience with qualitative research and interpersonal interviewing.

• Experience with basic visual design (using templates/tools like Canva).

• Experience with project planning.

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

• Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT to help summarize stories or draft content.

• Experience using tools to turn impactful content into socialready visuals.

• Creative ability to include ideas like a galleryinabox toolkit that Communities of Inclusion can use to build their own themed versions.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California is expected in the range below:

$2480 $3600 Biweekly (Every two weeks).
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including location skills and experience.
