Entry-Level or Associate Fabrication Specialist Multiple Shift

Company:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking EntryLevel or Associate Fabrication Specialists to support the Assembly Team in Salt Lake City on Multiple Shifts 1st shift hours: 6:45 AM 3:30 PM or 2nd shift hours: 3:30 PM 12 AM).

In this role you will be responsible for assembling metal structure components with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of blueprints and production orders and the ability to operate various hand and power tools. Position Responsibilities:

• Performs composite layup fabrication and assembly tasks
• Assembles precision mechanical and electromechanical components
• Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products
• Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation
• Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements
• Works on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Willingness to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime as needed
• Able to perform physical activities such as climbing bending kneeling and lifting
• Able to lift/carry up to 35 lbs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience:

• 1 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3 months experience in Aerospace Fabrication or Manufacturing experience
• Experience with managing or working to safety quality and manufacturing performance data
• Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement Standard Work and 5S tools)
