Minneapolis College is currently looking for two 2 parttime limited TRIO EOC Advisors from the month of May until the end of August.

Job Description

The TRIO EOC Advisors provide assistance to the TRIO Educational Opportunity Center with organizing implementing and holding informational sessions as part of outreach efforts to prospective participants for
TRIOEOC and provides advising services to TRIOEOC participants.

This position may be eligible for telework per the Minneapolis Colleges Telework Guidelines.

Salary Range:

$23.63 $34.18 per hour / $49339 $71368 annually

Minimum Qualifications

  • Combination of experience and/or education in Education Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology Counseling Psychology Organizational Management Liberal Arts.
  • Experience working with students who are TRIO eligible or from diverse ethnic backgrounds or nontraditional aged students.
  • Demonstrated understanding of student development needs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the mission and philosophy of TRIO programs.
  • Strong public relations presentation and interpersonal communication and writings kills.
  • Demonstrated selfstarter with strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficient and efficient at using computer technology including internet and Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrates an ongoing understanding of cultural fluency incorporates culturally responsive practices and actively engages in anti racism professional development learning opportunities.
